Welcome to City Love Maps!

I have always liked maps. Even as a kid, I could spend an unreasonable amount of time studying streets, borders, rivers, and places I had no plans or money to visit.

Maps tell us where things are, but that is probably their least interesting job. They remind us where we grew up, where we went to school, where we fell in love, and where we made a wrong turn that added forty-five minutes to the trip.

City Love Maps began with Olympic host cities and has grown to include major U.S. cities and college towns. Each design celebrates the places that stay with us, even after the rent gets too high and we have to leave.

Your favorite place deserves some wall space.

Especially if you can no longer afford to live there.
